An eventful week...

Was quite a week for me gang. Leli was here for 3 days. Needless to and yet I must say ....That was lovely. This week brought its share of tears and pain but when you realize you live in the hands and the plan of the Most Loving Unselfish and Just Being that can be taken in stride. Obedience and submission were issues that needed to be balanced with justice this week and God is still giving us wisdom for the journey.
I can testify that, just as God did in Joseph's case, He does so in my life and yours. Turning the misdirected intentions of others into something that will benefit us and the big picture in the long run. Sorry i have to be vague an not divulge details.
Also seeing a vision-opportunity that God birthed come into reality with the furniture project for the Bali missions school was sweeeeet. Still at the beginning though.
Guys keep August 2007 marked for a wedding ya... God willing = )

Found a church..

Hey guys! how are things with u guys so far? Do update me alrite? I have found a traditional Methodist Church right in the heart of the city. The people are very friendly, and there is this old couple Betty and Bill who have a heart for international students. I'm more or less settled here.
I was more or less shocked when I found out that I was the only asian student in my course. It was a shocker for the 1st day, but i've made a few friends on the 2nd, and the lecturers are friendly and professional. The English gals are pretty too.. Ha..

Cheers and God Bless!

But if it's for Skype to Skype purposes, then it's free. Was in my room today and thought I gave u guys a call on Raj's handphone, but didn't have a line connection, maybe he's overseas again. Anyway, miss those times I have with you guys and cell group. Tomorrow is Saturday, and I'll probably be checking out one or two churches that I can probably blend into. Inspirations

Guys,
seeing you all love, follow after, obey and serve God has brought me no end of joy.
If seeing you all seek His kingdom first is all the reward I'll get I am already overwhelmed...and yet He still promises more. Just amazing!

The Lord loves you all so much that I cannot help but seek His purposes in your lives. I feel His compelling desire to have you experience the fullness of life only He can offer and the more I labour the more I want to.

This one is for You my inspiration, and you all my inspirations.

Your brother
Raja

Friendship

Firstly thanks Sheng for setting up this blog! Much appreciated.

Anyway i was just listening to this song and i thought about way back when Jeshua and family migrated to Canada, the church sang this song for the family.

So in a way it brings back bittersweet memories.

Michael W. Smith - Friends

Packing up the dreams God planted
In the fertile soil of you
Cant believe the hopes hes granted
Means a chapter in your life is through
But well keep you close as always
It wont even seem youve gone
cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong

Chorus:
And friends are friends forever
If the lords the lord of them
And a friend will not say never
cause the welcome will not end
Though its hard to let you go
In the fathers hands we know
That a lifetimes not too long to live as friends.

With the faith and love gods given
Springing from the hope we know
We will pray the joy youll live in
Is the strength that now you show

But well keep you close as always
It wont even seem youve gone
cause our hearts in big and small ways
Will keep the love that keeps us strong

Chorus

But no worries.

Because "i know Who holds tomorrow, and i know Who holds my hand" :)

Don't Take This As A Gay Matter

Hey Guys! Yeah, really wanna thank Sheng for this job well done in setting up this blog. The green is nice..! And as I'm going away real soon, I would like to express my feelings for you guys. Wait, did that sound gay? Anyway.. yeah, really want to, incase I don't get the chance to.. Ok, maybe I'm just escaping the fact of saying it in person, and probably make you guys look bad as ppl probably think ure gay, by listening to me..

First of all, to the Mentor of our cell, Raja. Hey bro, thanks for all the times you stood by me when I went through tough times, like being dumped by a gal. Ha. The never ending effort in always inviting me to cell, when I was too caught up with my own world. Thanks for that. And the never endless times you never fail to amaze me by your love for God, and the amount of forgiveness and compassion you have for people. Just wanna wish you and Leila all the best and God continue to give you both strength and courage.

Next on the list will be Steve the man..maybe he's Steve the Boss too. Hey dude, thanks for your friendship and super hospitality. Your the best host ever! never failing to provide us with cakes, noodles, tau hui, pizza, and pepsi everytime we gather at your place, be it for cell or just watching a movie....Damn, will sure miss those times, and will probably be dreaming of it in the uk. And will always remember the times when you really gave great advises and frank opinions that really matter to me and others. And a great friend indeed, who will always be there for your pals no matter what. And I've never seen you angry before, that goes for everyone in the group. You guys will sure make good boyfriends.

And Jon.. the cool dude of the group. Always enjoy and will continue to enjoy the times we exchange views on fashion and stuff. Really a good friend too. You guys are like treasures man. Like collectible items, and I don't need money and wealth to have you guys as my friends. Keep up the runs with steve and when steve leaves, remember ed too, both of you all around the same standard, so can train and spur each other on. And we will be back to chill out with you again.. Time will pass fast, at least I hope.

Sean! Thanks for all the times you never fail to give me a lift back all the way to my doorstep. Appreciate it.. And all the dinners and lunch we had.. you just seem to take all the joking about you so lightly..ha, u are a rare breed..haha.. All the best for your career and love life..

Mat! Who is currently in the USA. Really encouraged how you have got back stronger than ever with God, and this helped me when I just started joining you guys consistently for the past 2 months or so. If you can do it, so can I. Thanks for that dude, and oh ya, I know where you got the "Chill Winston" Phrase. Fell asleep half way though.

Alvin and George.. You guys are my homies.. Learnt a great deal of stuff from your questions and views during our discussions. Wanna wish Alvin all the best in his teaching career and that you'll appreciate chemistry as a subject more as you teach. And for George, may you find your dream career as a councilor or any other jobs that God will put you into.

Noel! Really enjoy the closeness and friendship that our families share. And the advises that your dad and mom gave were really helpful. Appreciate you and your family.

Izzac and Ivan! Continue to strive and survive your last moments in NS and for Izzac, continue to be committed in trainings and bring back the gold medal we never saw.

Last but certainly not least is the master and creator of the blog that will help this group better gel together in the next few years is Sheng the man. All the best for your National Service and may God grant you the kind of posting that you desire. And guess its off to Sydney for you too, and keep up the good work at the law firm.

Hope I didn't miss out anyone. If I did, do tell me without getting pai seh, I'll add you in as well.

Wanted to say these about 2 weeks back, but the emo hasn't built up then.
God Bless and Keep All!

Yours Always
Winston
